The 1% Better Way
The turn towards adventure in the running world has been swift and nearly universal over the last half decade. Trail running, adventure races and even pavement-focused events have seen massive growth in popularity over this time.
As any true outdoor fan would know, we should enjoy being in nature without causing harm to the environment. But considering the pace of climate change, it is also clear that even more needs to be done for the future of our planet. That is why we decided to join 1% for the Planet and give 1% of ALL our sales back to organisations that protect the environment.
WHY 1% FOR THE PLANET?
As an aggregator across all kinds of businesses, 1% for the Planet networks nonprofits and businesses to create more support for action and outreach. Originally created by Patagonia founder, Yvon Choinard, 1% envisions a world giving back, protecting and supporting the environment.
As an apparel brand, we do damage to the world with many of the textiles, processes and experiences, in part, because there are few alternatives. But being an imperfect environmentalist is better than avoiding outreach.
